8metre Leyland DAF ASGB Smith GT bently coachbuilt OB truck

ideal for Dedicated sound truck, VT disk/ tape truck, OB camera truck or uplink truck

We are selling a Leyland (daf) truck with Smith GT bently built (ASGB) coachbuilt OB body,

Truck is 8 metre 13ton right hand drive (can be changed to left or right hand drive vehicle if needed) outside broadcast rigid vehicle.

Truck currently weighs approx 10.8ton when fully equipped. Power steering, 6 speed gearbox, 2x passenger seats, hydraulic tilt cab of course.

Length of truck is about 8 metres (24 foot),

Mileage on truck is 62,000km only which is very low.

Truck has extra sound insulation in walls etc as was used for concerts.

Currently setup as single room layout for a dedicated sound vehicle for 1 large sound mixer (calrec / neve) (was 7-8 foot across) and small editing mixer also).

There is 4 racks at the front and 2 side ones also, front of truck also has access ares and small rack units (accessible from side sides) and air con etc, mast compressor and storage locker also.

Vehicle could be used as sound vehicle again or converted for VT . EVS truck or full camera truck, uplink etc.

The OB body is a special coachbuilt by ASGB with aluminium etc (12cc wall thickness) plus has extra sound proofing plus sound absorbing panels etc inside body also.

Truck has rear ladder to access walk on roof (roof will take any weight ).

Currently truck has Clark air pneumatic mast mounted on outside of vehicle at front along with internal compressor plus controls. Rear of truck for tailboard is ideal for cable drums (6 were installed)

. Truck wuld need rewired again to be used of course so you are buying it as it is shown now. (most cables have ends cut of course.

We will probably remove all video and audio cabling out of truck for buyer

. Truck also has front levelling legs and rear stablising legs Rear axle of truck is air suspension also Currently no mot on truck as has run out but if agreed with buyer, can mot, tax and insure truck again and delivery also depending on buyers location if needed.
